in the last weeks I helped out at väterpolitik.de a social website concerning "fatherrights" in germany.

Just now im am evaluating some software and how they do matchmaking. There is some scientific stuff, how to do it. From know on I suffer from a lack of english, but I will do my best.

I saw the advanced_search modul on rawvengan. This is already working. Maybe it is an idea to put the values or answers in the profiles into scales. This scales you will divide into ranges, e.g. from 20 to 30, 30 to 40, 40 to 50, and so on for the age. Now you can combine users with the same range. This is the way the dating websites are doing it. Of course with some more effort, but just to understand.

Now I would like to see an module that automaticly contacts all existing members that fit into the matching-process. This can be be on the website, but I prefer via E-Mail or SMS. Everytime a new user register, he will initiate this process and hopefully recieve some answer!

What do you think about this ? ( excuse all mistakes )
