Job Description:

Come join Blink Reaction, a small, fast-growing web development company based in Manalapan, NJ (Monmouth County).We are looking for a talented, full-time developer with at least five to ten years of recent experience as a LAMP web developer/programmer. The position requires exceptional programming skills, problem solving abilities, an eye for design and a strong work ethic. You should also be comfortable working under tight deadlines. Reporting to our Senior Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for taking a web project from the development phase to the final product.

Key Responsibilities:

 Working successfully within a team environment (designers, project manager, and other developers) to create high powered web sites and web applications.
 Turning design and user interface mockups into functional web sites.
 Custom programming and web application development.
 Testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting existing client sites.
 Writing client case studies, building taxonomies, blogging.

Technical Skills:

 Web-site development/architecture experience with: Drupal, PHP, MySQL, Apache, HTML, Javascript
 Proficient with handcoding HTML and tableless CSS.
 Photoshop
 LINUX, APACHE
 XHTML, CSS, DIV's, W3C Standards, Cross Browser
 JAVASCRIPT (jQuery), AJAX
 Web Application / Services integration (XML, XSL, SOAP)
 Ability to produce clearly written and documented code
 E-commerce and Shopping Cart development
 Macromedia Flash/Action Scripting is a plus

Minimum Education:

BA/BS in CS/EE or other technical discipline preferred.
