4.2.1 Configuration
I've read through this several times but i can't seem to figure out how to make the "Use on Registration" box appear in the User Registration (Figure 4.4: Configuring the Content Profile). Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for replying and yes I have both content profile and user registration content profile enabled.

Are you looking at /admin/content/node-type/profile/profile ?

Thank you for your time. Maybe I missed a step somewhere along the way, but for me to pull up the screen that is shown in Figure 4.4, i go to: Administer/Content Type/Profile/Content Profile(tab). When i click the "User Registration" drop down it says: "There are no fields defined, so registration integration is disabled." Maybe if I enable "registration integration" it would work, but i can't find where to do that.
I have looked for /admin/content/node-type/profile/profile but can't seem to find that path.
I'm sorry for my ignorance. Thanks for your help.

Do you already have some CCK fields added to your profile. You probably have something link "about me", I just want to make sure.

I did not. I added some CCK fields and everything is good now. Thank you for your help.
7. You have to go to the Manage Fields tab...
You have to go to the manage fields tab and create the fields first, THEN that option will be enabled.
8. Install CCK before Content Profile
I've just gone thru this. You must install CCK prior to Content Profile (there is a dependency). The book has you install Content Profile and begin to configure it immediately in section 4.2 but does not mention CCK until 4.2.2. The book should be corrected to account for this module dependency.
9. Here is how I found it.
The last section of the Edit part @ content/node-type/profile is "Content Profile"
Here you must tick the box for "Use this content type as a content profile for users"
Click save and magicly the tab "Content Profile" at the top of the screen appears.
Looks like Drupal is a bit in flux :P
10. Previous post sorted mine!
Thanks Wired!
I'd tried to shortcut to .../profile/profile as mentioned in the book, but it simply displayed the same page as .../profile UNTIL I did what the last post suggested and ticked the only box available under original Content Profile section. Then the tab called Content Profile appeared and all was well with the world.
