Adding Avatar to Profile Panel

Question: 

This refers to instructions on page 37 right above section 4.3.4. The instructions state "Lets add this pane to our Profile Panel. Make sure to use the Node ID context."

When I go the the panel with the Profile node and click the + on the left pane I do not see a Node ID context. Avatar pane is checked. Did you really mean to say "Make sure to use the Node ID content."

I know this thread is a *bit* old, can you tell me where is the right place to look for it? I'm stuck at around the same point you were. I am using Panels 3.25 and following the 2nd edition. Thanks.
