Confirm password when editing account

Question:

I stumpled over a problem, that I saw here as well.
When I edit my account via
http://drupalfun.com/user//edit
I have to confirm my password again. This is not very user-friendly.

Is it possible to move the password-change to a separate page? I haven't done that, because it is difficult to mess with the "drupal-default"-user-account-profile-page.

Any experiences?

I'll have to give that some thought. I've never considered that before. I does not seem very straightforward to change.

I just checked again. Whilst you get the option to change the password, you can just leave this blank. No need to fill it in again!

3. Oh, you're right

This is some kind of usability-thing for drupal in general.
I have saved my passwords within Firefox. Therefore Firefox inserts automagically the password for that site (but Firefox leaves the "repeat password"-field empty).

Thanks for your answer
