content profile bug?

Question: 

Tried to create a new user as admin
I get
username does not exist
I had to uncheck

Use on administrative user creation form

Didn't try yet to create a new user as new user
with Use on Registration on

is a strange error to get when creating a new user. Are you sure you were on the user creation page?

Try using the normal registration procedure, with content profile on there. Does that work?

Tried 2x with on and off
Not working if admin creates user with content profile enabled @ registration
