There is.

On the "Find a member" (profilesearch) view, you just add the filter:

- Node Title (if you have used "Automatic Nodetitles", then the member name should be the same as the profile title). I set it to "starts with"

- Expose this filter

I thought I haven't seen the member-name-search last time I had a look at drupalfun a few days ago :-)
