Homepage okay... all other pages '404 Not Found'

I've just bought and installed the Drupal Fun 2.3 package.

After connecting to the new database, the Homepage appears, but clicking links to all other pages gets me the 404 error message:

Not Found

The requested URL /cantkeepupv2/usersearch was not found on this server.
Apache/2.0.63 (Unix) PHP/5.3.2 DAV/2 Server at localhost Port 80

We had the same problem at work a few weeks back after installing new local machines, but I can't remember what our support guys did to solve the problem.

My brain keeps whispering... "clean URLs"... but I need help here!!

Has anyone got a clue??

I found the answer...

I use a Mac... and Macs hide .htaccess files.

I found a widget that makes hidden files visible, then located the Drupal Fun .htaccess file outside of the folder that I had copied to my server... I copied the file back in and Hey Presto!! it works!!
