I have the ebook and I have done everything but set up proximity search. I have spent 7 days now (each day) trying to work out how to do it. Basically I would like a postcode search 50 mile radius for each community member. So, a visitor can just put in there zipcode and members within a 50 mile radius will come up in the search section. I have installed the zip postcode file to mysql and tried to do this in views with the following instructions to the "profiles search view" without any success.

These are the steps I have done.

# Added field Location: Distance / Proximity

1. Units: Miles
2. Origin: Use Distance / Proximity Filter

# Added field Node:Title
# Added Filter Location: Distance / Proximity

1. Expose the filter
2. Operator: Proximity (Circular)

If anyone could help that would be great,
