How do I get the full Phone Number from my Profile Page?

Hello
I am testing the Profile Page that I created for a website that is asking people to Volunteer for a Film Production to help raise money for an Orphanage Home & Widows Center. The website is at www.filmforfree.org.

The problem is that when Volunteers create their profiles some digits of their phone numbers get cut off so that I do not get their full and correct phone numbers. What can I do to get the complete phone number of my volunteers from the profile page?

when people register and fill in their Telephone Numbers, some of the numbers/digits get cut off so that I do not get the full and complete phone number.

For example, when I tested the form this is what I got. 803892571 instead of 08038925717. What can I do to get the complete phone number ?
Also how can I prepopulate the field with the country code?

Either use the CCK telephone package, the Location module (has a field for phone)

or... just use a text field instead of an integer.
