Menu Link Error

Question: 

I receive the following error when attempting to add a menu link (as described on pg. 40-41.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/g/l/o/globesherpa/html/includes/common.inc(1654) : eval()'d code on line 7

The input type is set to PHP Code.

Any thoughts about where I am going wrong?

I found a previous response by dorien (http://drupalfun.com/question/profile-block-parse-error). I retyped the ' marks and that solved it.
