At page 50 you mentioned of creating a new custom block with some PHP code inside. Will you please tell me what exactly i have to do for creating it?

Hello,
To create a new block, go to /admin/build/block/add.

Here, you can give in the PHP code. Select the input filter: PHP code. (you need to have the PHP filter core module enabled for this to appear.)
