This is what I am trying to do: (D6, Panels3, Pathauto, Token)

4. Here is the tricky part: set the path to “node/%”, by doing this all of
the node/3, node/4, node/5, . . . pages will be replaced by this panel,
and the argument % will be passed to the panel.

When I enter that url Drupal says I cannot replace the path because it already exists. Please help I don't know what else to do. I tried using user/profile/% but I can't get that to work either.

I really like this book, and I want to finish it.
