panel module not working

I installed the profile module but it doesn't seem to work

I get the error;

cannot redeclare panels_simplecache_get_cache() (previously declared in panels_Simple_cache.module on line 63

What version of panels do you use?

Try clearing the panels's cache. And make sure that you delete the previous version of panels before you update it (if that's what happened).
