Question: 

except admin all other users are not able to create more than one site show case???

when the other users click on create content site showcase,, they are taken to the edit page of their current site showcase??? what can be the reason anyone?

i've checked the permission as well,,

the create siteshowcase content is enabled and i've also enabled the create panel nodes at permission (is it safe)?

does anyone has any idea where the culprit is?

it has definitely something to do with permission because admin can create more than one site showcase i.e. node of content type but other users can not create more than one site showcase,, if you click on the link for creating site showcase it takes you to the edit page of same node or siteshowcase that is already there !!!

I've even searched online and it frustrated me further that people are looking for ways how to bar users from creating more than one node of a certain content type and i am looking for the opposite!

yeahhhhh i did it :) i had it selected as profile content type :( and you can have only one content type node as profile content type ;)

Drupal is one son of a mother duck !! :)
