User membership issue

hi!!!
I want to block the user account after a certain time limit.I am using drupal 6.9.I don't know how can i implement this?Can you give me some light regarding this issue.....Is there any contributed module for drupal 6 for doing this job....

You might want to try something with roles and rules instead.

Take a loot at drupals site theres a module "Role expiration" or something like that

Thank a lot for your fast reply.I found that module and install it,but i can not set the role expiry date.It use role-expiry-6.x-1.1 vartion.Please would you can give me some way out.Is this is possible that whenever i create a role at that time i also set the expiry date for that role from there.......
